My cousin asked me to repair his Compaq Presario 1060 laptop (Windows 95)

running Windows 98(SE) on an old PC which only has 7 gigs of HD space. Awhile
back, I had to use my recovery disk to repair a huge problem. The problem

I was using partition magic to create a new partition on an external
drive. While rebooting the computer froze and I had to unplug it. My
external drive is "corruptable or unreadable." Portition magic says
error 7 "operation canceled by user" occured. How do I fix this. Can I?

98se. Now my computer shows 2.2 gigs of total space and fdisk shows 3 gigs

RAW (und es finden sich keine Dateien).
Es kommt auch eine Interupt 24 Meldung beim Starten des PC, die garnichts
