640 x 480 x 16 by
Wayne A Lewis
After a crash on a friends system, the resolution went so 640 x 480 x 16. I
reinstalled the correct driver and it did not fix it. I also checked
msconfig advanced, to see if the 640 x 480 x 16 was checked -- it wasn't.
Is it possible that some system files were damaged from the crash? ...

Incorrect display settings! by
Andy
I have installed Windows 98 on a friends PC, the
installation went fine, however I can't change the colour
settings to include 256 colours. The only settings we
have are 2 and 16. The computer is a Gateway, with a
Gateway VX700 monitor. Any idea's or suggestions would be
gratefully received.

Can a graphics card with output to VGA monitor only output to TV? by
Herbert Chan
Hello,
I've bought a new TV and it can accept input from a computer. However, my
computer system is old and the Graphics card is Inno3d GeForce 2 MX AGP
"Value" and the card has only one output for VGA display.
Are there anything I can buy that I can output the display to a TV?
Thanks.
