Hi, I was trying to set up my daughters and uni.friends pc to share a
broadband connection.
The win2k pc is Ethernet connected to a router/switch which is in turn
connected to the broadband modem, no problem. However I connect the winme
Ethernet to the router/switch and am unable to get an internet connection,
no matter what I've tried, on the me pc.
They do not need to share any files, see any other pc's as in a true
network, merely share/connect via the router/switch to the internet.
Any guidance, as I know nothing of winme?

The easiest solution mostly is the best - check some of these things:
- Does the router accept your MAC address for NAT forwarding?
- Is the cable allright?
- Is the windows milennium computer configured for a dynamic IP?

Check those, even if you think they are ok
