Is that the whole, complete and exact error message? Exactly when in the
procedure does it appear? Have you been able to print from Notepad in the
past, and if so, what has changed since you last printed successfully? Can
you print from other applications, such as WordPad? Does it happen with
every document you try to print from Notepad, or only some?

First delete the contents of the Spool folder:

Start Windows Explorer.
On the View menu, click Folder Options.
Click the View tab, click Show all files, click to clear the Hide file
extensions for known file types check box, and then click OK.
Browse to the following location:
C:\Windows\Spool\Printers
On the Edit menu, click Select All.
On the File menu, click Delete.
When the Confirm File Delete message appears, click Yes.
Quit Windows Explorer.
Restart the computer.

Then make sure that you have sufficient disk space by deleting temporary
files and temporary Internet files. To do this use the Disk Cleanup utility
in Win98. Go to Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk Cleanup.

If that doesn't help, let us know the answers to Jeff's questions.
