Does anyone have a retail version of 98 with product key that they can
upload to me? XP really sucks and and I would like to reformat my hard
drive and replace XP with it and I don't have the disk anymore. You can
send it as a zip file to .

With much appreciation!

Were anyone to do so, they would be breaking the law. Were you to install it,
you'd be breaking the law. To see you solicit this crime on Microsoft's own
servers makes me assume that you are either very naive or very stupid.

Go buy a copy on eBay. Full retail or generic OEM, either will be fine--assuming
that your new hardware will even support Win98SE. Or did you wipe your old Win98
to install XP? Then, perhaps, your problems with XP are the old hardware? Or is
it, as implied by your post, some seriously malfunctioning wetware?

Got a private communication from OP. It gets worse. Turns out he isn't satisfied
with WinXP on a new Compaq Presario...(insert violins here)... and thinks it's
all Microsoft's fault.
