error 88

when i try to use my restore disk for win me it says error
88 cannot find drive. can anyone help, i need word back
shortly. thank you

You will need to check the documentation that came with your PC. Microsoft do
not produce recovery CDs but instead these are produced by the computer
manufacturer's themselves and the CDs vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.
Possibilities for the error you are seeing include not being able to see the
CD to the system not being able to access your hard disk.
