Avsynmgr

When starting my computer I get the message: "Avsynmgr has
caused an error in MCSCAN32.DLL. Avsynmgr will now close."
Then when connecting to Compuserve I get the same message
about Rulaunch." I am finding that because of this I
cannot open My Documents.

How can I fix these problems, please? Also, does Microsoft
still have the Forums where you can ask questions and
someone will answer?

You appear to have made the same post now at least five times in the last
twelve hours or so and each time I or someone else has posted a reply. All
_you_ need to do is to read those replies. something you appear to be
incapable of doing. The same goes for what you call the Microsoft forums, but
again you need to read the replies.

This message is indicating that your McAfee AV application is having problems,
MCSCAN32.DLL being part of McAfee. Avsynmgr is the McAfee service that loads
the AV software. Try uninstalling and then reinstalling McAfee.
