I have been trying to upgrade from ME to 2000, but found
that I could not. I am now needing to uninstall ME and
install 2000. I know I will need to format with NTFS, but
do not know how to reformat my hardrive to do so. Can
someone help?

1. Make sure your computer is set to boot from the CDROM first, then the
hard drive or floppy drive.

2. Put in the Windows 2000 CD.

3. Restart your computer. When the Windows 2000 CD starts it will say
"Press any key to boot from the CD." When it does, press any key.

4. Remove your WindowsMe partition when Windows 2000 Setup asks where to
install Windows 2000, then format the partition as NTFS.
