reformatted hard drive

I recently reformatted my hard drive and thought I had
backed up all my files. Turns out the disk stopped
working and I am unable to get the files off of it. Is
there any way or program to retrieve the files off the
hard drive? thanks for any help

You could try Google... I'm not aware offhand of any specific program
that does, though I'm sure they're out there; or you could try a
professional recovery service.
