no sound

How do i check to see if the sound is on in the BIOS.

ummm...


If your sound is "on-board", ie: it's soldered onto the motherboard,
then the setting in the BIOS probably says "Legacy Sound" (anything
Sound really).

If you have a separate card which plugs into the motherboard, then that
is not controlled through the BIOS (but you should turn the on-board
sound off, if you have it).
