startup error

hi. i am currently having same prob. no start up menu,
only "safe mode"in all four corners. hope someone can help
us without major renovation

Boot to DOS using a startup disk, (option 2 or 3 - with or without the CD
support) - type the following command at the A:\> prompt

SCANREG /FIX

Remove the floppy and reboot the system on request - see if that helps.
