winword error

Everytime I try to open Word I get the following message:
Winword has caused an error in Winword.EXE. Winword will
now close

Begin by renaming all copies of Normal.dot to Normal.jnk and rebooting.
Open Word to recreate automatically the template file, Normal.dot.
