wordpad problems

having problems reading dwnld file from email using
wordpad. have restarted computer and still having
problems. any suggestions.

What problems? What error messages are you seeing?

Is it possible that you are trying to use WordPad to view a Word document and
seeing an error such as "WordPad has caused an error in MSWRD832.CNV. Wordpad
will now close."? If so this is because you are trying to open a document
written using a later version of MS Word than can be opened with WordPad. For

Rather that trying to use WordPad for such documents you might want to
consider downloading and installing the free Microsoft Word viewer
(http://office.microsoft.com/downloads/2000/wd97vwr32.aspx).
