I have the same problem. It happened whenever I uninstalled my NVidia drivers. Then when I reinstalled it, it worked again. But now I no longer have an NVidia, when I uninstalled it and installed my ATI card I still can't open folders in ME Explorer, I have to right-click and select Explore, otherwise it asks me what program I want to open the folder with! Duh!?
