when I try to start mydvd.exe I always get a error
message. Microsoft visualC++ runtime library. Abnormal
Program Termination. what to do??????

Kelly, I recently had exactly the same experience - although in XP.
Which version of Sonic are you using?

Try this

Start-->Run. Type "regsvr32 msxml3.dll" (without the quotes!)

see if that helps - and post back with your results!
