Error messages At Shut Down

For three weeks running ,I have been having error messages
any time i want to shut the system down. This same message
appears and the computer freezes instantly when it is idle
for some time, say one hour. The message is "FILE
NAME:VWIN32(05)+000012D0 ERROR:0E :0028 :0029A4A8

Please help. I am getting frustrated and I am about to do
system restore.
