View Full Version : Software to use USB memory card with Windows ME

Does anyone know if Microsoft has a download in order to
actvate the USB as another drive, i.e. to use a USB memory
card. My IT at work says Windows 98, 2000 and NT have it
but NOT ME?

WinMe contains native, that is, built in, support for USB. If additional
specific drivers are required for your hardware then these will need to be
supplied by the hardware manufacturer.

Didn't the card reader come with it's own CD that had the necessary
software ?

Neither of the two USB memory cards that I have purchased
have required ANY software to function properly on WinMe.
The Manual for the memory cards stated such
