Hi all,

We have a home network and we cannot get it working again.
All three computers have the same settings, except of course, the host
computer which has the modem connected.
We used to have the network operating but I put a firewall on the computer
some time ago which messed up the network.
I have since completely, really completely, removed the firewall files and
got MSN Messenger finally back but we are still unable to use the network.
We have two printers that we also share thru the network. We can only see
our own computers on the network.

Could someone please advise what other information is required for me to get
help.

Thanks in advance,
Di Maloney

What, exactly isn't working? File shares? Printer shares? The Internet
connection? What symptoms are you seeing? There are ten thousand and one
problems; help us narrow down the fix by giving us some clues.

Okay, this could be of some help for you. I don't follow the directions
exactly, myself; but since you seem to be unable to proceed without
assistance, you would do well to follow the directions religiously. They
will work, if you don't try and run a shortcut.
