Programs not displaying contents

since removing & reinstalling IE because of mshtml errors
no matter what i did....all of my folders ( control
panel,recycle bin search) I mean everything except for
connecting to internet & netscape,the windows open but none
of the contents display therefore i cannot scan disk or
restore any ideas?

I can not do that when i open anything i cannot see the
contents...I tried search I tried run C:/ window opens for
them but the contents will now display on any thing the
only thing i can do is open netscape to get online

You may have a virus/spyware hijack

download the Stinger from here and run it to make sure that A-V-disabling
viruses are not present on your PC

- update your virus scanner and run a full system scan of all files.

Reboot to Safe Mode and run CWShredder - to remove variants of the
CoolWebSearch hijacker.
