View Full Version : not viewing thumbnails!!!!

My thumbnails for jpegs are not displayed when i click to
view them. i can open the images but i cannot see htem for
thumbnails, others like tiff and bmp are fine! can someone
help me sort this out?

It appears that you have installed a graphics application of some sort that
has damaged some of the necessary registry entries used to produce thumbnails.

To fix the thumbnail problem, enter the following from a command prompt such
as Start | Run:

REGSVR32 THUMBVW.DLL

and press enter. This should re-register thumbvw.dll and hopefully add back
the necessary missing registry entries.

It means that to fix your lack of thumbnails you need to type:

REGSVR32 THUMBVW.DLL

at a command prompt such as in the box displayed when you click Start | Run.
