IE Keeps on freezing

I have Internet Explorer running with Windows ME.
I can connect to the internet ok, but when I try to
browse using IE it just freezes and I have to re-boot to
continue again.
I can get my emails and I can update Norton. I cannot
use my banking service because I need to browse to a web
page and that is just not possible.
I tried to uninstall IE, but could not find how to do
this as it does not appear in add/remove components or in
windows component.
Please help.

you may have spyware
Such errors are often caused by spyware - download AdAware from
www.lavasoftusa.com, install, update, and run it to remove spyware, adware,
and other such nasties from your system.
