I am going from dial-up to high speed access and would
appreciate any recommendations concerning cable verus DSL.
Both are available and the cost does not vary that much.

Thanks.....

Cable is "shared bandwidth" with any other users on the
line. DSL is all your own, as it comes thru your regular
telephone line. The bandwidth is great enuf with DSL that
you can take a phone call, recieve a fax, and be online
all at the same time. I'd go with DSL. If your ISP
doesn't send out a tech to hook it up, and you do it
yourself, keep in mind that if it doesn't work, it's
usually because of a filter outside on the line for
improved voice quality that needs to be removed by the
phone company.
