Security upgrade/Outlook Express 6/attachments

Help!! I recently installed the security upgrade cd which
also upgraded my Outlook Express to version 6. Now it
won't let me open any attachments at all - very
frustrating. Can I get back to my previous version and if
so how do I do that? Any assistance/advice most gratefully
appreciated - not too technical please as I am not!

To access attachments in Outlook Express:
Tools | Options | Security and UNcheck the box "Do Not allow attachments to be
saved or opened that could potentially be a virus".

If you do decide to uncheck this option PLEASE don't forget to scan for
viruses and other nasties ALL of your attachments irrespective of whether sent
from a friend or not before making any attempt to open or run them. It is
users failure to carry out such simple precautions that allows viruses such as
Swen & MyDoom to spread so quickly.
