I use AOL, but whenever I try to connect through the Ie browser it brings up an error message, "The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings. ect." and have no idea what to do..
I would really like it if anyone could help because I am completey clue-less
thank-you, Dan

Such errors are often caused by spyware - download AdAware from
www.lavasoftusa.com, install, update, and run it to remove spyware, adware,
and other such nasties from your system.

Is this only with .EXE files? - or with all files?
if with .EXE files, check the File association table in Folder Options -
look for the EXE in the left column.
If it exists there, delete it. (it shouldn't have any associations).
