When i open outlook express, i get the error:cannot open
because MSERES.dll file cannot be found. outlook express
may not be installed correctly.
I had recently tried to up grade my windows me to windows
2000, and that never worked, so i continue to use windows
me. Now my outlook wont' open.
I have emails saved in outlook express, how can i recover
them!!!!!!! thanks

msoeres.dll should be located in your Program Files\Outlook Express folder.
Is it there? What is the EXACT error message you are seeing when you attempt
to start Outlook Express?

If msoeres.dll is missing you might want to consider using system restore to
roll your system back to a checkpoint created when you could use Outlook
Express without problem - provided that that was not more than a few days ago.
Alternatively you might want to see MS KB 278909 - "OLEXP: How to Manually
Uninstall and Reinstall Outlook Express on Windows Millennium"
(http://support.microsoft.com?kbid=278909) which explains how to uninstall and
reinstall Outlook Express.
