frozen and jumping

To:Anyone out there please help my compurter is just
jumping when i go in to explore and freezeing up,wont do
anything just says conneting to site.

You may have a virus/spyware hijack

download the Stinger from here and run it to make sure that A-V-disabling
viruses are not present on your PC

- update your virus scanner and run a full system scan of all files.

Reboot to Safe Mode and run CWShredder - to remove variants of the
CoolWebSearch hijacker.

I had been experiencing similiar problems in Win Me as many postings since 060104, with accessing the internet.
I was able to download and save to a disk Adaware, Spybot, Stinger, CWshredder, and lspFix as you suggested to others. And finally, this morning about 1:30 am, Spybot, CWshredder, and Adaware finally broke through and removed the nasty CW hijacker Trojan Horse virus. Then I was able to download and reinstall Zone Alarm which was also rendered inoperable. Thank you so much for sharing you problem-solving talents.
