Hi,

QUESTION:
===========
When running web, some sites will pop-up a shutdown message and send error
report. Message says "internet explorer has caused an error in flash
player"
(iexplore.exe flash.ocx offset 00048d75) Also have updated to ie6.
Media player will load a video clip but and tries to show but clip just
sets there and restarts.

SOLUTION: (for Flash)
===========

This happens when you attempt to browse a Macromedia Shockwave-enabled or
Flash-enabled Web site. This could happen when your flash file is
corroupted. Please refer the following KB articles for the resolution:

KB Article 302396 : Internet Explorer Quits When You Attempt to Browse
Shockwave or Flash-enabled Site
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;302396

KB Article 302461 : Error Message: Iexplore Caused Invalid Page Fault in
Module Swflash.ocx
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;302461

Then go to http://www.macromedia.com/downloads/ and update
a. Macromedia Flash Player
b. Macromedia Shockwave Player

SOLUTION: (for Media Player)
===========
Does this happen only with some sites or all the websites. Please enable
the following on the Internet Explorer:
1. Open IE
2. Select from the menu bar Tools -> Internet Options
3. Click the Advanced tab
4. Under Multimedia, select the following (if not selected)
Play animations in web pages
Play sounds in web pages
Play videos in web pages

Hope this helps ...... :)
