For some reason the same three messages keep coming
through on my e-mail and then the computer won't let any
more e-mails come in. If I delete the three e-mails, then
nothing happens, but the next time I open outlook express
the same three e-mails come back in again. Please can
someone help me, this is driving me insane!

Sounds like they're hung up on your ISP's server. Try to access your e-mail
account on-line (not using OE) and delete them. Make sure you delete them
from the trash file also. If that doesn't work (e-mails may be
"corrupted"), call your ISP and ask them to delete them manually.

HTH,

Marty

You're very welcome, Dee, that's what these groups are for. Hope it works
for you as I was assuming you use your ISP's e-mail service.

A useful application that will allow you to connect to your mail server, list
mail and allow you to delete individual unwanted posts or posts that might be
too large or that you don't want to download is MagicMail which can be
downloaded free from http://www.geeba.org/magic/ although the site does appear
to be down at the moment.

You may have the "Leave a copy on the server" checked,
to find out, goto Tool/accounts/select your account, then
hit properties, and then select the "Advanced" tab, and
towards the bottom, you see it. un-check this if it's
checked and this will prob. fix your problem.
