When I run Norton, it scans this folder forever and does
not go any farther. I eventually stop the scan, but I
would like to scan my whole computer. My work partitioned
my hard drive and the files in one drive are not the same
as on the other drive. Not sure if that has anything toi
do with it. But, Norton shows that it has scanned over a
hundred files in this folder on my C: drive and when I
look, there are only 18 files. Can anyone help me with
this? Do I need this folder?

Thanks a lot~

Norton appears to be making a meal of scanning the zip files in the Packages
folder which can contain many hundreds if not thousands of files. Either
configure Norton to skip this folder or use an antivirus application that
knows how to deal with these files.
