I am getting an error IExplore has caused an error in
MSVCRT.DLL and will now close. It shuts down to the screen
saver....I cant get into hotmail account expect through
MSN...also keeps telling me this page cannot be
displayed...I have searced and searched for days
everywhere I know to go to find a list errors with
solutions and nowhere can I find this particular error! If
anyone is familiar with this error please HELP me, or if
anyone knows where I can go to find a listing of errors
with solutions I would really appreciate the help!!

Have a look at Microsoft Knowledge Base article number 192123 to see if
that helps.

Try replacing your copy of msvcrt.dll with a new copy from the Win Me cab set.
Also rename all copies of msvcrt.dll other than that in the windows\system
folder.

msvcrt.dll is contained in WIN_13.CAB of the Win Me cab set and can be
replaced by booting to Safe Mode and using MSConfig | General | Extract File
and following the prompts. The "cab" files are in the Win9x folder on the Win
Me CD and/or in a sub-folder of Windows\Options. See MS KB 265371 - "How to
Extract and Replace a Protected File in Windows Me"
(http://support.microsoft.com?kbid=265371) for details of how to extract files
from the cab set. msvcrt.dll belongs in the Windows\System\ folder.

If this problem has just started what changes did you make to your system
prior to this problem starting? Try reversing those changes. Alternatively
if not too long ago you could try using system restore and rolling your system
back to before these problems started.
