View Full Version : Lost installation numbers
I bought a new computer with XP home. On the old computer
I was running XP Home also. The wife would now like to
have ME installed instead of XP. (she liked ME/go figure)
This would be no problemo because I still have the ME
disk but (and there is always a but) a don't know where
the heck I put the ID number. We just moved and I can't
find half the stuff. I think there is one happy mover out
there. Anyone out there with a ME installation number for
me???? If not how can I get one?
Thanks, ED

The ID number you're talking about is tied to the CD - another one won't
work.
