Hello,
I wonder if anyone can offer any assistance.
This morning when I tried to send an email instead of being able to insert
theTo address it started typing in the letter g. I stopped it and
immediately ran a virus scan. Upon completion it said I had Win32.Cruxis. A.
Dropper in the C://RESTORE/TEMP folder.
I have searched and can't find anything on the particular Worm Virus or
Trojan.
Am I correct in thinking that if I don't restore my computer back to today's
date( May 28th) then all will be okay?
I have writeen to the IE 6 Stationary Group and am not sure if that was the
correct group or not.
Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.
Liz

As long as you don't Restore to a point where the virus was active on
your system, you'll be fine.

Thank you Rick,
I just got freaked about half an hour ago as when I started it up some
program came up and said executing worm,
I clicked on stop and had to reboot. I ran another scan and sure enough the
2 infected files are still in the same place according to EZ Trust.
Thank you very much for your reply.

Everybody here likes the EZ-Trust software, but you might try some
others as well, since you really shouldn't be getting a message like that.
