How do I get rid of a "System Config utility" box that
appears when I start up my computer? It says I'm using the
selective startup for trouble shooting my system.

Run msconfig.exe and look in the General tab (I think?) and uncheck the
Selective Startup box.

Or if an entry is intentionally unchecked in MSConfig | Startup, as it often
is, when the Selective Startup box pops up when booting check the box to not
display the message again and you won't be told you have an unchecked item
again until after you next use MSConfig.

LOL - Thanks Mike.

My WinMe box is still out on 'extended loan', don't know when/if I'll see it
again - as I'm sure you'll understand <g>

Mart you really do need to install VPC so you can install and run Win Me as
and when required in a Window when running say XP. How much memory do you
have on your PC? Want to e-mail me?

put in a check mark. That will stop it from ever coming
back.
