Greetings folks; I've got windows ME, my hard drive went
bad and I am replacing it with a new one... but when I try
to re-install the OS (Windows ME installation software
that originally came with my PC as a "QuickRestore" CD...
it does not recognize the new drive... !
(A WD2000JB western digital 200 GB)
What can I do?
do I have to reset the memory ?... and if so HOW do I go
about it?

HELP)))

Go to the Western Digital web site and download Data Lifeguard. When you run
it it will create a boot floppy that is used to boot the computer and setup
the hard drive.
