I have a specific MS problem,paid $35 for telephone
support and have been on hold for over 23 minutes...my
problem, I cannot access a second America Online account,
AOL 9.0 because a message pops up "A requireed .DLL file,
MSIMG32.DLL,was not found"
Can anyone give me advice, thank you so much!

Yeah, dump AOSmell and get yourself a normal ISP that doesn't take over your
computer.

Who did you call? If it was Microsoft, it is rarely (if ever) necessary to
call them (on a fee-based line or otherwise) to ask a question. I would
estimate that 99% of the questions you might have regarding the operating
system, office software, or anything else computer-related can be answered
in one of these newsgroups - but be patient, a response may take a few
hours.

For questions regarding your ISP, your ISP should answer them for free.

So wait for the answer here, or call AOL. I don't use AOL, but someone that
does will probably supply the answer. On the other hand, you can always use
a different ISP.

1. You should ask MS for your money back.
2. You should have contacted AOL Support for this problem. It isn't an MS
problem, it's an AOL problem.
3. You must have your Windows installation files on hand, either on CD or on
the HD (in a folder, probably C:\Windows\Options\CABS.)
5. See this article for instructions:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;185836

If that doesn't help, then it really, really *is* an AOL problem.

LOL and posters have enough problems just with the operating systems to
allow an ISP like Aol to take over your computer.

I'm still trying to remember what Step 4. was. I sure hope it wasn't
important!
