Hi all!

I've just bought a bit of software - Spellbound. I installed it OK, but
when I try to run it I get the error message "Spellbound has caused an
error in MSDXM.OCX..." and it won't open.

I tried moving msdxm.ocx from windows/system to the Recycle Bin, but
Spellbound still refuses to open with the error message: "Error loading the
main program window. Try restarting the program."

I think that msdxm.ocx is something to do with Windows Media Player 9 -
some sort of ActiveX control?

Can anyone offer me a solution?

Thanks In Advance,
Col

Yes. It's an activeX control. To be more specific msdxm.ocx is actually
WMP 6.x . It will be loaded by many application that needs mm support.
It's possbile that WMP9 loads it.
