Suddenly I can't double click with the left mouse the desktop icons to
start a program. Nothing happens. If I clicl the right mouse and go to
the drop down choices to "open"... the program then opens. But not if
I double click in the icon with the left mouse. Any suggestion?

Have you tried using another mouse to confirm it's not the button not
working ? I had this once but it was the right button that stopped
working.

Many thanks. After reading your suggestion I went to my old mouse and
kind of pressed the left side many times trying to make it work. I
learned that by insisting it worked... So ... you are right... I went
to the mouse control panel and decreased the speed a little bit. I
don't know if this is the reason but it is working now. I have a new
one just in case...
Thanks
Marcio
