Visual C++ Runtime Library Error

[RC]

A strange popup stating it was from m$ occurred while opening a website .
It had something to do with email safety. The title was 'email tips from
Microsoft Explorer.' I thought that was strange. I closed it and while
the page was loading, the following popup occurred:

M$ Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error
Program C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IExplorer.exe
abnormal program termination

Any suggestions? If it's of any importance, my pages seem to be loading a
little slower today.
