Whenever I try to click on an icon on my desktop, an error

Twaintec is a transponder, but, will be recognized by HijackThis! as a BHO.
There is a tricky method of removing this pest. Please go to the following
URL and scroll down past the HJT log to the next post. There are explicit
instructions on how to remove.

Do a Google search for twaintec.dll, there were many hits......seems many
folks have been bitten. The instructions were quite specific, but, it did
mention that the order was critical......maybe you had tried another way to
remove it before???
The articles mentioned it was very persistent. If you get it taken care
of, post back with the solution you found.......I am sure there will be more
like yourself.
Sorry I could not have been more help.
Heirloom, old and hope I don't get it

You don't want to use and uninstaller from a site or software that hijacked
you in the first place -
