Sometimes, more and more frequently, when I go to shut my
PC down I get a message saying that a program is not
responding. and gives the options of wait, end now,
cancel. Normally I wouldn't really give it a second
thought, but in these cases it doesn't tell me which
program is causing problems. Is there a way to find out
which program it is?

Hi Jason,

The easiest way to find out the problem is by going to the 'Task
Manager'.You can do this by pressing 'Ctrl'+'Alt'+'Del'.

This will list out the programs that are currently running and you will be
able to see the one that is not responding.

You can as well remove the programs that are running on the background by
using the 'System Configuration Utility' (SCU).

To access SCU, click on 'Start' --> 'Run' and type in 'msconfig'. This will
bring up the SCU window and there you will see the list of programs that
startup automatically under the 'Startup' Tab.

You can leave only the programs that are absolutely necessary and uncheck
the remaining.

By this way we will be able to isolate the issue.

Thanks and Regards,
