Hi
I am having trouble downloading messages from newsgroups
that I am subscribed to. My ISP has not been any help. I
am getting the following messages:

Your 'rec.pets.birds' folder was not polled for its unread
count. Account: 'news.***.**', Server: 'news.***.**',
Protocol: NNTP, Server Response: '480 User and password
still required, authinfo command', Port: 119, Secure(SSL):
No, Server Error: 480, Error Number: 0x800CCCA4

Header download for the 'rec.pets.birds' folder did not
complete. Account: 'news.***.**', Server: 'news.***.**',

The asterisks (***) are my work. I am confused by
the "User and password still required" bit as I have
already logged onto my server. My email account still
works with the same connection. Can anyone decipher this
message and tell me what it may mean please. This problem
has occured only recently. I have not had any trouble in
the past.
