windows detected a registry/configuration error

this is the error message i get when i start my computer

windows detected a registry/configuration error

i can't start it in safe mode or normal mode. how do i
fix this without loosing stuff i have on my computer?

Fix your RAM - this error is usually caused by faulty RAM.
Try reseating the RAM sticks on their slots, and see if that helps. Remove
all but one stick, and see if that helps
Try using DOcMemory2 - from www.simmtester.com - run it overnight to see if
that can pinpoint a problem.
