MSAFD.DLL error

I am trying to install and use a wireless LAN Card from
Dlink. When my laptop is running and the card is plugged
in, I keep getting a message saying that Explorer caused
an error in MSAFD.DLL. It will go away but come back in 5
seconds. I can't get rid of it.
It doesn't come up when I have the card unplugged. Please
help.
