Occasionally when I open a program I get the "Canvas Does not Allow"
tombstone popping up on the screen in multiple
instances,,,,,,,,somestimes 10 or more of these will pop up
.............and this usually leads to a crash.

Can anybody tell me what it means and if their is anything I can do to
avoid it?

Thanks

"Canvas Does not Allow" appears to be a message typically output by Borland's
Delphi. The Win Me operating system won't output such a message.

How long has this been happening? What changes did you make to your PC in the
session before this problem started? Have you considered using system restore
to roll back your system to the state it was in before this problem started
provided not more than a few days ago? Have you checked your PC for possible
malware using your preferred antivirus application? Have you checked your
system for possible parasites using tools such as the free Adaware
(http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/) and SpyBot Search & Destroy
(http://www.safer-networking.org/)?
