Help! I have Win ME and my laptop has an inbuilt mouse which has stopped working. I have tried plugging in a plug in mouse which normally works ok but this is not working either. The white arrow that is normally visible is not there. My laptop is very hard to use without a mouse as I am not familiar with keyboard shortcuts. How can I get my mouse back. I don't understand all this technical speak so if someone could let me know as simply as possible I'd be grateful.

Control Panel/System/Device Manager tab, scroll down to mouse, select and
hit Remove (Alt+E).
Reboot the laptop.
Mouse drivers should be reloaded & it should now work OK.
