Just yesterday for no reason my keyboard and mouse
started to freeze if left idle for more than a minute or
two. Anyone have any suggestions.

Hardware problem?
Graphics card not secured properly?
Try removing the graphics card and make sure that the AGP socket is not
contaminated with dust.
Regards Mike.

Thanks Ill try that - I was wondering about heat maybe
the fan is not working. If I reboot by turning the
machine on and off it does work until I leave it alone.
The screen saver will kick in although I have disbled it
and the hibernation features are also off.
