Dear Sir, In my system (windows me), In "Mypicture" folder
selected the view to show as thumbnail,it was showing with
picture.but I went to the properties and
selected "openwith" and selected the program ACDSee to
view picture, since then I am unable to view thumbnail
picture in My Picture folder as well as in the opened
dialogbox to insert a picture file. I tried to restore
windows but failed and I don't want to reformat. Please
help me to view the thumbnail picture as earlier without
reformatting.
Thanks
Arul

Arul,

It appears that installing ACDSee has damaged some of the necessary
registry entries used to produce thumbnails.

To fix the thumbnail problem, enter the following from a command prompt such
as Start | Run:

REGSVR32 THUMBVW.DLL

and press enter. This should re-register thumbvw.dll and hopefully add back
the necessary missing registry entries. If not post back as there are other
fixes available but this one seems to fix the problem for most users.
