HI,, when I first boot up my computer i always have about
90-92% resources,, I go to msconfig,, and these are
checked:

scanregistry; taskmonitor, system checked, ISTsvc,
WinTools (checked in two places); AOLAcsDAEMON1; American
Online 9.0 Tray Icon; PalNet Aware.

I go to take the checkmark out of ISTsvc and the
checkmark out of Wintools in both places, but whenever I
go to reboot computer,, the checkmarks are back in..

When I am in my AOL,, and Paltalk,, i go to click Alt and
Delt. to see what is running, which is :

America Online; Explorer, Rnaapp, Wtoolsa; Wsup,
Pnetaware; Systray; AOLtray; Aolwbspd,, I go to end the
task for Wtools; and WSUP,,, but it will never end the
task for these two.

What can I do to keep the check marks out of my start up
program ones I mentioned,,

Thank you for any help

It is usually best to stop a program from starting up at startup by going
into the program itself and looking for that option.
However, regarding wtoolsa :
Do a Find in this NG for wtoolsa . It needs to be dealt with.
Google gives many hits also.

Download, unzip, and run Hijack This from one of these locations:
http://computercops.biz/downloads-cat-14.html
http://www.majorgeeks.com/downloads31.html
http://www.spywareinfo.com/downloads/tools/HijackThis.exe
Unzip to a folder other than your Desktop or the Temp folder, doubleclick
HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save
Log"
button.
Press that, save the log somewhere you can find it (Desktop, My Documents,
or
similar).
Most of what it lists will be harmless or even required, so do NOT fix
anything yet.

Copy the log files and paste them into a new post at one of these forums:

The folks there will tell you what to remove.

Here is a little tool I use. It laods to the
control panel and can be used like msconfig
and things do stay shut off unless somthing
is rebuilding them-making a second line in
msconfig.
Get startup
