View Full Version : Missing exe file
When logging into Windows, it is looking for an .exe file
that was uninstalled from another software program. It
advises "Missing shortcut gwremind.exe". I have
uninstalled this program but Windows is still looking for
it. How do I get rid of this?
Thank you!

Disable the reference in Startup.
Check in Msconfig.
(Start-Run-MSCONFIG-Startup tab)
If you cannot see anything in Msconfig then:
Start-Run-msinfo32
Click the + beside Software Environment to expand.
Click Startup Programs
Ctrl+A to Select All, Ctrl+C to Copy.
Paste that information in your message.
