Is it ok to disable Rnaapp & Ibmmon in msconfig startup?

Rnaapp is part of Dial-Up Networking, and it will start on its own when you dial up
to get online....there is no legitimate reason I know of to have it in your startup
group.

I do not know what Ibmmon is....see what you can find in the web sites linked below.
Search the hard drive for a file named ibmmon.exe, right-click it and click
Properties, and see if it gives a clue as to origin.

Rather than unchecking them, I would be looking for what put them in your startup,
and why:

Clean up your startup group:

Update your anti-virus app and then run a full-system virus scan.

Use CWShredder, the CoolWeb removal tool, available here:

In addition, install Ad-Aware 6 free edition, start it, click its 'Check for
Updates' link in the app to install updates, then use it to scan your system, and
remove what it finds.

Install, update and run SpyBot Search & Destroy, scan your system, and then remove
the items in RED only.
